I invite you to travel across the sea of imagination and beyond the boundary of time into my wonderful world of the art doll.
This is my discovery of Elves, Goblins, Sprites, Fairies and other beings and creatures who inhabit the "Isle of Appleshire".
Each one begins from a spark of imagination and a bit of clay to capture the soul. I add a dash of time and energy to give them size and movement until they can stand on their own and I usually add a pinch or two, here and there, for character. They eventually spend time in the oven to harden their form or take time out to grow skin, hide or scales. They finally emerge, ready to get their clothing, hair, tools and accessories that give them an attitude and spirit of living so they can take their rightful place in the world of Appleshire.
In this gallery you can view them in detail with a bit of their history and their creation and also go to the STORIES to read about the continuing first adventure on the Isle of Appleshire.
