An antique rusty sardine tin
I created a little mermaid to fit into the tin. She has a soft cloth stuffed body with paperclay hands & face.
Vintage shell graphic & a real shell on top.
Inside box frame lined with cloth.
Sealed in box frame behind glass with hook on back for hanging.
Recycled materials.

Here's a bit of fun.
It certainly tells a story but I will leave it up to you to determine what that is :)

This is a very old cigar box (cigars @ 5 cents).
I used cloth,vintage pics and wood. In the close up image you can also see a few old bits that I found while metal detecting.... includes a tiny purse, a question mark & a small white & red star, all jewelry pieces. There is also a red poker chip and small wooden game piece. Hooks & wire on back for hanging.

This is the Artist Angel.
A unique one of a kind sculpture made from objects and
a hand sculpted head from paperclay with no molds used.
Body is one of my old paintbrushes. Has a large brooch that
I found while metal detecting and a few other bits of jewelry.
Hand painted with fine detail and varnished for protection.
She hangs on the wall.
