"The Dolls"

This is an image of "Missy" with some of her favorite dolls.
She started collecting them at a very early age, sometimes
finding old forgotten or broken dolls that she would take
great care to clean and repair.
By the time she reached her adulthood she had become so skilled that
she started the first doll hospital in the village Appletree Hollow.
During her later years she became famous for creating her own
beautiful and charming felt dolls.

"Night Visit"

This large painting was a recent commission. The client
really liked my black cat and crow Halloween paintings
and wanted something with the cat, crow and owl in it and
a bit of magical fantasy quality. She lives out
in the country and is very connected to nature and owns a
black cat with green eyes.
This is what I came up with!
It was a really fun painting to do~

I have always believed that cats can often see what we
cannot....If you look closely you may see what the cat can see
on Hallows eve.

Here is one of Halloween pieces and it has recently become the
cover of a magazine!! The original oil painting
has sold but sense Halloween is approaching I thought I would
re-post it and let you know that I have large and small high quality
prints available if you are interested. It is $15.oo for a small
and $21.oo for a large.
I think this is definitely one of my favorite Halloween pieces that
I have done.........

I was commissioned to revisit a painting that I did in 2007.
They wanted a larger painting and I did a few revisions.
It is fun to go back and revisit an earlier image because
it seems like I can always find things I want to do a bit
differently.
